Double rotor shredder is typically used in paper recycling(confidential destruction and shredding) and document destruction, where a massive influx of infeed materials often go into a shredder. Also, it is applicable for film and wood recycling.
TD series industrial shredder takes advantage of single shaft shredder and double shaft shredder. Firstly, instead of using stacked cutters(disk knives), this shredder adopts two rotors from one shaft shredder. The 2 rigid and heavy rotors bring twice the torque and crushing ability for you.
Secondly, the two rotors contra-rotate like a double shaft shredder. Once objects fall into the shredding chamber, the two rotors tear down the objects.
As a double rotor shredder equips with screens, you can get uniform particle size. Features low speed, high torque and compact structure. In a harsh environment, the shredding machines can maintain good stability and reliability. Wiscon’s unique screen and 4 types of shredder rotor can be selected according to material characteristics.
One extra rotor augments crushing ability.
Rotor knife adopts DC53 steel and counter knife adopts D2 steel.
Auto-reverse system re-orients rotor direction when motor overload & material jam.
