Wiscon Hammermill is a destruction machine for downsizing scrap electronics, scrap metals, and glasses.
The size reduction is realized through high-speed impact. Hammermill working principle is simple. The materials enter from hopper and fall into chamber. Inside the chamber, the materials are repeatedly beaten by rotary hammers. Once the materials are fragmented, they will leave from the screen.
Unlike traditional industrial shredders, Wiscon hammermill runs at a high speed around 1500RPM and consumes less energy. Facing challenging tasks, the overall construction especially rotor and bearings, can withstand vibration, shock load and high temperature.
The Wiscon hammermill can be a part of primary crushing and secondary crushing of dismantled or pre-shredded scrap metals like circuit boards, solar panels and home appliance. The output materials usually are in form of beads (balls), thus the hammermill is applicable for many softer metals. Other common applications include glasses, wood, corn cobs, straw, bark, branches, plates, cartons, peanut shells, coconut shells, fruit tree branches, mugwort leaves, mulberry leaves, lotus leaves, newspapers, plastics, tin foil, sponge blocks, peanut seedlings, crops, plants, herbs
Adds-on includes water cooling for chamber, VFD for rotor speed adjustment as well as customized hammer and screens.
