Size reduction plant
The size reduction equipment includes major 3 types, as well as its nominal output size are as shown below. The details will be introduced later.
Shredder, as the primary size reduction machine, carries out the most challenging task. The infeed materials may be irregular in size and composition. A rugged and strong single-shaft shredder should be wisely chosen before implementing. The slow rotary blades break down the materials piece by piece. The shreds then stay in shredding chamber until they meet a certain size and they will fall from the screen.

Industrial Shredder and Granulator
A granulator is following a shredder to further produce small particle sizes at high throughputs up to 3 ton/hr and particle sizes between 8-12mm. The high-speed rotor and the arrangement of the blades allow the material to circulate in the cutting chamber resulting in the maximum number of cuts. Just like shredder, during the process when the particles are small enough to go through the screen, they will exit the machine.
A blade granulator
For fine milling of plastics, rubber, cable or integrated as part of our processing systems, a pulverizer is a key machine in the final size-reduction process.
Below 3mm, equivalent to powder, is achievable by two-disk grinding. The whole unit includes feeding hopper, grinding chamber, vetex hopper, vibrating sieve, regrinding system, dust-cleaner.
This is a two-stage system with shredding and granulating. In bewteen, there is a vibrating screen to separate oversize plastic. The system can be added water as a washing system for scrap plastic.
