Plastic tote shredder IBC totes are commonly known as “intermediate bulk containers”. They are used to transport liquid in bulk or to hold solvents, oils, chemicals, etc. After plastic totes have been used, reused, refurbished and used again, they inevitabely reach service life.
Cutting them up and baling them or shreding/grinding them for maximizes rebate value but these process takes labours and time. Our plsatic tank shredder can downsize a whole plastic barrel as a whole. The recycling and plastic resin market is hungry for this type of HDPE regrinds.
Plastic Tote Shredder is equipped with slow rotating shafts with a high torque. For an optimal process procedure, these drum shredders equip Siemens Logo PLC, that provides the automatic reverse in case of jamming and overload. This all to protect the machine from overload and sudden blocking of the shafts.

We added a hydraulic ram, which vertically pushes a tote/tank/drum/barrel against rotating blades. Bulky containers, like IBC’S will be pushed from the top into the cutter module, so they have no chance to bounce on the blades and immediately get shredded into pieces.
Power: 22+22 kW dual drive with optional hydraulic drive
Shredding chamver; 1200 x 800 mm
cutter width: 40 mm,
With vertical hydraulic ram, emergency stop, enlarged infeed hopper.
Total weight: 9000 kg

Depending on the recycling process that has to be continued, the reduced material can be used immediately for any subsequent reduction, washing or separation steps. A wide-range of models and comprehensive product range makes sure that we have the right recycling machine for your plastic barrel recycling.

The blades of shredder is hardened to 58HRC. Each blades are snugly stacked together and installed on the shaft. The wave-like blades ensure a barrel is caught and shreded within 30 seconds.
This features a single-shaft shredder handles hollow plastic boxes.
This is a complete washing line at 1500kg/hr includingshredding, granulating and washing, from dirty totes to clean HDPE flakes.
