Plastic Mill

Plastic Mill is a machine to downsize and recycle plastic scraps from plastic processing.

Wiscon Envirotech since 1990 has manufactured plastic milling machines and blade granulator. V-shape knives ensures a clean cut. Adjustable knife clearance optimizes cutting function, and the knives can be resharpened to ensure long life and low operation costs. The machine is designed for quick and easy change of screens, which are available in different hole opening sizes for flexible output size.

Introduction

Safety

All hazardous areas where pinching is possible to occur are sealed. At the control panel level, 2 relay switches located at hopper and screen cradle check all safety meansures are met before operatiing the plastic milling machine. A pivot key allows the rotor to be locked in the most convenient position for changing the rotating blades or maintenance. The machine is equipped with accident prevention stickers and is accompanied by a user and maintenance manual.

Power

Plastic mill adopts Ip55 motor that provide a high speed (520 RPM) operation. From 18kW to 150kW, we develop the best plastic granulator for your unique applications such as plastic film, paper, purges, runner, non-conforming parts, top and tails, and ewaste.

An extra fly wheel is optional.

Control panel

All buttons are labeled with your local language. Fully IP 55 control panel with all components for the operation and correct operation of the granulator. Star-delta start guarantees a smooth start up.

Infeed Hopper

Hopper is sufficiently large for most of the waste materials. Hydraulic system assists to lift and close the hopper when in servicce.

Rotor

Rotor is conduct dynamic balancing before installation, in order to ensure its stablity at high speed. The rotor shaft is large and strong enough to endure shock and high speed rotation.

Double cutting angle system with “scissor effect” for greater efficiency, less noise and lower energy consumption. The shape of the slanted cutting chamber and rotor makes it easier to grip large items, minimizing the “kickback” on the rotating blades. The rotor is mounted side by side with two outbound bearings to prevent sipping water or dust entering. This system, thanks to special internal fins, is possible add water-cool via the shaft, to achieve low-temperature granulation.

1. beside-the-press to grind sprues, runners and rejected parts.
2. used in a washing line (wet granulator is possible).
3. Central granulator for a big amount of granulation.
