PET is widely used in various plastic packaging and textiles, but the recycling rate of waste spinning in China is less than 20%, and although the recycling rate of waste PET bottles is high, it is basically a downgraded use for miscellaneous bottles, making it difficult to achieve high-quality recycling. Without Plastic Shredder, the waste PET that cannot be recycled can only be sent to incineration, landfill or discarded into the environment, causing serious environmental pollution.
Plastic Bottle Shredder operates very quietly and dust free. The material to be shredded is firstly deposited into a large hopper, via a hydraulically controlled pusher. The pusher makes sure the plastic bottles are pressed against the rotor.
The shredding of the material occurs between a rotor shaft and a fixed opposing knife. The pusher’s feed rate is controlled directly by PLC and is dependent on the power consumption of the main motor. The fixed screen, located underneath the rotor, determines the desired output size. After shredding optional transportation of the shavings takes place via an extraction unit, blower, a screw conveyor or a conveyor belt.
Famous brands, such as Coca-Cola and Danone, have promised to reach 100% of renewable plastic in some of their product packaging by 2025 under the premise of ensuring the quality of recycled PET. In addition, Europe has proposed that by 2025, the amount of recycled PET in the packaging bottle material of the beverage industry should exceed 25%, and by 2030, it should exceed 30%. With Wiscon shredder, we believe we can assist all recycler to achieve their aim.
Wiscon waste shredders play a key role in PET bottle recycling. Plastic Bottle Shredder used in the process of recycling plastic waste is excellent in terms of cost and quality. Plastic bottle shredders and sometimes as plastic bottle grinders are the ideal solution for plastic container recycling of all types.
Other than plastic containers, plastic shredding machines used in plastic waste recycling need to be able to reclaim plastic scraps such as PA, ABS, Acetals, Acrylics, Engineered Thermoplastics, Mixed Thermoplastics, PEEK, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, Nylon, PC, Polyolefins, PP, PS, PVC, and the below fields:
