Breaking lumps of plastic and powder into small pieces is not an easy task. You may have a few myths that it can be done easily with no effort, but to do it accurately we must break the clumps into the desired shape and size. This task can be accomplished precisely with Wiscon lump breaker.
Our lump breaking machine can work at any temperature. The precise spacing between the blades ensure no chipping of blades themselves. The dual-drive delivers a low-speed and high-torque movement to break down the lumped materials. The cross-cut design and wave-like arrangement of blades constantly crush and cut the lumps, disintegrating them back their original forms. In the end, the screen opening determines the particle size, and once the lumps are downsized properly, they left the screen.
Lump Breaker Machine
The lumps or agglomerated materials are fed into the lump breaker through the crushing chamber by gravity. The rotary blades rotate, compressing and shearing the bulk goods until the materials meet the desired size, they exit from the screen.
The overall process is fully automated. If jamming or overload is detected, the blades rotate in a reversed direction to release the jam. Please view more videos here.
How Lump Break Works
Due to its high torque and impeccable shearing, a lump breaker can achieve size reduction and disintegration of lots of materials. Mostly, powders and homogenous material in lumps or agglomerated plastics. Here are some of the examples:
